What that has been so true for me lately is "first things first." It is way too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget that all I really have is this moment. I think in sober living it was easier to be in that current moment state of mind but now have a few months out it seems to be something I have to constantly meditate on.

Let go and let God is big for me. I have an almost unstoppable urge to want to try to control people, places and things in my life. Especially the prior... Usually I end up disappointed and with busted expectations and in worse of cases, resentment. The big book of Alcoholics Anonymous literally says that resentments have the power to kill me. So yeah this one is huge. It's a big sigh of relief often when I just kinda let go and unshrug my shoulders... Some times 5 or 6 deep breaths help too.
